Why does my candle or wax melt have white or frosty areas?

You may notice white or frosty areas along the edges of your Boutique Lou candles and wax melts. This is called frosting, and it's a completely natural characteristic of 100% natural soy wax.

Because we choose not to add dyes to our wax, this natural crystallization may be more visible from time to time. It does not affect the quality, fragrance, or performance of your candle or wax melt — it's simply part of the beauty of working with soy wax.

No two batches will look exactly alike, and we think that's part of what makes hand-poured soy wax special. ❤️
