Our Story

Hi, I'm Lindsey — a stay-at-home mom, wife, and the proud founder of Boutique Lou.

The name "Lou" comes from Louisville, KY, our neighboring city and a big part of where this all started.

I started Boutique Lou in 2019 with a simple love for hand-pouring soy wax candles. What began as small batches sold at local vendor shows around the Louisville and Clarksville, IN area quickly grew when we found ourselves selling out at every single event.

That response pushed me to keep refining our scents and formulas — because if I was going to make candles, I wanted them to actually smell like something the moment you light them. Not the kind you have to stand right next to and squint to notice.

Now, after years of small-batch testing, I'm so excited to finally bring Boutique Lou online. Every candle is still hand-poured by me, using high-quality soy wax and scents my own family genuinely loves and uses at home.
