Soy Candle Questions
Are soy candles better than paraffin candles?
Soy wax is made from soybean oil, a renewable plant resource, while paraffin comes from petroleum. Soy wax also burns more slowly, so a soy candle usually lasts longer. That's why we pour every Boutique Lou candle and wax melt with premium soy wax.
Why does my soy candle have white spots on top?
That's called frosting, and it's a natural trait of real soy wax. Because we never add dye, you'll sometimes see it. It doesn't change the scent at all.
How do I get the strongest scent from my candle?

Do you make soy wax melts too?
Yes. Our 3 oz soy wax melts are poured from the same batches as our candles. If you want to try a scent first, grab a 1 oz wax melt sample.
